Welcome Back!!!

Well I guess I'm back to 'blogging'. Didn't realise that I had not blogged for almost 4 months. I guess I didn't have the time. Since now all the series that I've been following has stopped and will start again in September, I guess I have the time. Well many things had happened during the past 4 months. Some of you guys already know my most major and happening event and that was going to UK and Europe. I think I'll blog about it in the next post. Besides that, I have been given many new responsibilities and will expect more events and happenings to come...So I guess I'm back!!!!

Time Flies By So Fast

Yup time does fly by very fast. I just finished my last paper last monday and that's it...I actually finish my second year. So fast. I can hardly believe that I'm already halfway of my degree. I had such a blast during my second year. I went to a lot of places, done many weird things, gotten many more friendship bonds. get to stay in a house full with a bunch of crazy people, stay up late most of the time to finish up my lab reports and also a lot of prayers have been answered. In short in was a good year. The day that my exams were over, my friends and I went to One Utama to have lunch. Then later that evening we went to the Curve and watched a movie (Shutter Island) and for dinner we went to SS/2 pasar malam. We actually went out the whole day. The next day I went to my bro's place and we went to Genting for dinner. He actually drove all the way up there and we just had KFC and Coffee Bean. It was my first time in the casino too. The guard stop me to check my age....haha...should I take it as a compliment or an insult. That two days was really a great day. Great bonding sessions not only with my bro but also with my coursemates. Anyway, I'll be going back to Ipoh this Friday and I can't wait to see my family and old friends. Really can't wait. Till then the blogging might stop due to no connection at my house Hopefully I can update on my trip to UK.

Goodbye, Sayonara, Adios, Schuss, Selamat Tinggal!!!

Goodbye is a word that people always use as an acknowledgement when parting. Most of times we say this knowing well that we'll meet again the next day or the next week. But some goodbyes are so hard to say. I think I'm going to sound so emo...haha...Did you know that goodbye actually means 'God be with you'. Suddenly I'm blogging about this is because my seniors are graduating. After so long building the friendship it's time to say goodbye. It's the same feeling when I left for university. I had to say goodbye to close friends and knowing that we may never meet as often again. But I always thank God for all these people. Each person that I know have made an impact and left footprints in my life that I will cherish forever. I guess that's life. We need to move on and continue to impact different people in our lives. We should be a blessing to everyone. So I'm here to say thank you to all my friends and seniors who are graduating. I'm sure going to miss you guys but I know that we will meet again someday. Do keep in touch...hehe...And here's to all my friends, remember to cherish everyone that comes into your life. Live life to the fullest, loving everyone regardless of race, creed or status. Life is really too short to be complaining all the time but it's time to be thankful and be appreciative.

To Continue or Not???

Wow it's been months since I last blog. Sorry for MIA from the blogger world but I guess I got kind off frustrated with the internet line and editting the pics. Besides that, I got lazy...haha...I wonder how you bloggers can keep on going. I guess you must have the passion. Like what the title says, I'm not sure to continue blogging or to stop. Sometimes I do feel like blogging but sometimes I don't. Anyway, there's tons of things to update. Many things and new experience happen this semester. Firstly, I had a new environment to stay (I moved out of college), made a lot of new friendship bonds (but lost some old ones), got some new responsibilities (but do feel stress about it but I think I can do it), had very interesting subjects and labs (the reports were very long though) and also went and going to a lot of new places. Besides that, the car has been serving its purpose and not giving and problems. Thank God. I also encountered a lot of 'first time' for me (if you want to know then ask me personally...hehe...). I guess many things had happened in this past semester and I'm going to expect more happenings in the next half year. I guess God will continue to teach me stuff and wants me to grow. Not only that, I know that He'll always be there for me. Now should I continue to blog again....hmmm....

Sarawak Trip

Finally can be blogging again. I'm back in uni so I can finally go online. Anyway, now it's finally time to blog about my Sarawak trip. I have many photos and I dont think I can upload 300 over photos, so I decided to make it as a video which I've yet to do. Overall, the trip was fantastic. I went to Kuching then to Sibu then to Miri. I was in each city for 2 days. Each city has their own mascot.

Kuching

In Kuching we visited a lot of places. From museums to hotels. From shopping centres to street markets. We tried local food there like golok mee and laksa Sarawak. To me, golok mee looks like char siew mee and laksa sarawak is exactly like curry mee but the lemak type. They use meehoon in the laksa but it's the thick type. Not like in Semenanjung the thin thin meehoon. We also visited Fort Magherita (I think that's how you spell it). It's a nice building but too bad we can't enter it so we only took pictures outside the gate. We also went to people's park at night. It's a park to symbolise the friendship between China and Malaysia. It has a big statue of Laksamana Cheng Ho but it was too dark to take picture for we went at night. We also went to visit the cultural village. This is my second time there and I still enjoy it. You really get to experience the different cultures of Sarawak. It is also the venue of the famous event Rainforest Music Festival. Here's a tip, do bring along your student card if you are going to visit the cultural village. Your fare will be only RM15 if not you have to pay RM6o. At night, you can stroll along the river bank. You can snap a thousand over pictures with all the cat statues around the city. The mascot of Kuching is of course the cat.

Sibu

In order to get to Sibu from Kuching, we took a bus. It was the cheapest mode of transport but the longest. The bus was an 8 hour journey and it was a bumpy ride. You can't even sleep in the bus for you will be bouncing up and down most of the time. The bus ticketing price is also very funny. It follows like airplane ticket. Meaning at one time it will cost RM10 and in just ten minutes later it can go up to RM20. The earlier you buy the cheaper it is. The back seats are also cheaper but the most bumpy. When we got to Sibu we went to visit the night life of the city that was the pasar malam and a place known as the Gateway. Sibu is a nice little town just like Ipoh. There's nothing much to do but eat and eat and eat. So the whole time there, we tried different food like snails, kampua mee and many exotic food. Seafood here is fresh. Kampua mee is like golok mee in Kuching. The laksa here is sweeter. I also tried mee suah. It's like noodles in wine. People in Sibu likes to do gardening. All houses are filled with their own vegetable and herbs patch. I guess Sibu people have green fingers. For Sibu, the swan is their symbol.

Miri

Again another grueling 8 hours bus ride, we finally reached Miri. Miri is to me is like a cleaner and bigger version of Penang. Again the food here tastes different and the seafood is the best and freshest. we visited a crocodile farm. I got to feed a horse and goats. Got to see procupines, mynahs, emu and of course crocodiles. All the crocodiles are so huge and all sleeping only until it was feeding session. Then we visited the beach and also Marina Bay whereby we saw the sun set. We also visited the petroleum museum. There was nothing much and it looks like PetroScience in KLCC but a smaller version. In Miri, we played cards till late night and also learn how to play Mahjong. We left from Miri airport to LCCT. Our plane was delayed for an hour and we stayed over in LCCT Coffee Bean until the next morning. In Miri, the mascot will be seahorse.

All in all the trip was enjoyable but tiring. I recommend to sit planes from one place to another. It's a bit more pricy but it saves a lot of time. There's sure a lot of things to eat so prepare a big appetite. Also bring a lot of cash to spend on souvenirs and many more. Remember to bring your student card too. You never know when you might get discounts.

No Blogging

Yup as the title says I wont be able to be blogging for awhile. This is because I have no connection at home. Only able to post this at a cyber cafe. I have loads to blog especially my trip to Sarawak but I guess it'll have to wait till end of december when I go back to uni. Many things have changed during this holiday and many events will be coming up in the future too. I hope that I can continue to blog. Anyway, take care everybody. Happy holidays! Sleepless night

Last night or should I say this morning, I couldn't sleep at all. Thus, resulting that I didn't sleep the whole night. Yup I was actually awake for more than 24hours. This thing happens to me occasionally and I'm not sure why. Maybe because I had teh tarik at night before going to bed. The last time that this thing happened to me was last year where I was up the whole night thinking for a theme for MK09. This time I tried to put myself to sleep by studying but it didnt work. So I stayed up all night reading books and watching movies. I got bored but not tired. I thank God that I dont have exam today if not i'm going to the price for it. I was so bored that I actually took pictures for the sun to rise. Haha....
