New Year 2012
F - For His love and mercies endures FOREVER. He is so ever faithful and His goodness is FOREVER. He has given me opportunities to go to Poland for a World Assembly and also to Philippines for a mission trip. He not only gave me the chance but also the money and time to go for these events. In the events, it really open my eyes a lot (mission field and what God is doing around the world).
A - APPRECIATE every small thing in life. During the year 2011, God has taught me to thank Him for every single thing that happens, the good and especially the bad. Even in bad times, there is still something to thank God for. After those struggles, it not only build your faith but also tend to look at life differently (looking through heaven's eyes).
T - TIMING is everything. God's timing is always the best. Every prayer is answered but according to His timing. Sometimes we as human can be so impatient but He will come to it. He knows what's best for us.
H - Just be HAPPY. Help is on the way. God will surely guide our path. So just be contented with what you have and smile always. Laughter is always the best medicine. A smile can always make one's day. So just keep on smiling...hehe....
“Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” 1 Chronicles 4:10
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

Spiritual Gift Analysis
Just did this spiritual gift analysis that I was supposed to do after NC but now only free to do. Honestly I'm still shocked at my results but the explanations really describe me well. My results are……
Your dominant gifts are Pastor/Shepherd and Serving
The results of your Spiritual Gifts Inventory indicate that your number one dominant gift is PASTORING/SHEPHERDING! Therefore, we are actually discussing the GIFT of shepherding, not the POSITION of pastor. Though a good pastor must have the gift of shepherding, everyone who has the gift of shepherding is not called to be pastor. The gift can be used in many positions in a church.
As a gifted shepherd, you have the Spirit-given capacity and desire to serve God by overseeing, training, and caring for the needs of a group of Christians. You are usually very patient, people-centred, and willing to spend time in prayer for others. You tend to be a "Jack of All and Master of ONE," meaning you are usually dominant in one of the speaking gifts (evangelist, prophet, teacher, exhorter) as well. You are often authoritative, more a leader than a follower, and expressive, composed, and sensitive. Your pleasing personality draws people to you.
You have a burden to see others learn and grow and are protective of those under your care. You want to present the whole Word of God and do not like to present the same materials more than once. You are willing to study what is necessary to feed your group and are more relationship oriented than task oriented. You are a peace-maker and diplomat - very tolerant of people's weaknesses. You tend to remember people's names and faces. You are more concerned with doing for others than others doing for you. You are faithful and devoted and may become a workaholic. You can become an all-purpose person in order to meet needs.
Be careful to involve other people; don't try to do it all yourself. Work on making people accountable. Do not be overly protective of your "flock." Because of these potentially weak areas, other people may think it is your job to do all the work; they rely too heavily on you. You may be expected to be available at all times, know all the answers, and be at every function. Learn when to say no.
The gift of serving is not the gift God gives you when you cannot do anything else. It is spiritual in nature and as important as any gift in the church. Never think it is anything less; it only becomes less if you do not use it as God intended.
As a server you are the person who is willing to do a million and one necessary tasks in the church. You are happy working behind the scenes. You are ambitious, often involved in a variety of activities, and enjoy manual projects. You are loyal, sincere, tolerant, faithful, and devoted. Most people find you easy going, likable, congenial, and inoffensive. You can listen to others without being critical. You do not like to be in the spotlight and prefer not to express yourself publicly.
You are quick to respond to needs and impressed with the need to respond when exhorted to serve. Because of this, you find it difficult to say no. You like to support a good leader. Some consider you a workaholic. You tend to emphasize practical needs over spiritual needs.
For those who know me. I'm really like that especially my flaws. I guess I'm still working on it, you know the part of learning to say no. Besides that, I think I also will work on opening up about my problems. That will be another hurdle for me but I'm seeking God and believing in Him that He can change me.
As for the good side of me, I hope I can continue to be that person and not let pride/selfishness get in the way. So now whatever I do, I will leave in God's hands.

Appreciation

Before the Morning
feel the things that hurt you,
if there's a God who loves you,
where is He now?
Maybe, there are things you can't see
and all those things are happening
to bring a better ending
some day, some how, you'll see, you'll see
Chorus:
Would dare you, would you dare, to believe,
that you still have a reason to sing,
'cause the pain you've been feeling,
can't compare to the joy that's coming
So hold on, you got to wait for the light
press on, just fight the good fight
because the pain you've been feeling,
it's just the dark before the morning
My friend, you know how this all ends
and you know where you're going,
you just don't know how you get there
so just say a prayer.
and hold on, cause there's good who love God,
life is not a snapshot, it might take a little time,
but you'll see the bigger picture
Once you feel the way of glory,
all your pain will fade to memory
once you feel the way of glory,
all your pain will fade to memory
memory, memory, yeah
Would dare you, would you dare, to believe,
that you still have a reason to sing,
'cause the pain you've been feeling,
can't compare to the joy that's coming
Would dare you, would you dare, to believe,
that you still have a reason to sing,
'cause the pain you've been feeling,
can't compare to the joy that's coming
com'n, you got to wait for the light
press on, just fight the good fight
because the pain you've been feeling,
it's just the hurt before the healing
the pain you've been feeling,
just the dark before the morning
before the morning, yeah, yeah
before the morning

L.O.V.E

Agapao (verb) and agape (noun). This is the "Christian love" of the Bible. It means affection, benevolence, good-will, high esteem and concern for the welfare of the one loved. It is deliberate, purposeful love rather than emotional or impulsive love. Almost all of the New Testament references to love are agapao or agape in the original Greek. The King James Version of the Bible sometimes translates agape as "charity," but charity has now taken on the meaning of assistance to the poor rather than benevolent love.
Phileo (verb). This means to love in an impulsive and emotional way. It is seldom used in the Bible, but there is a play on words (lost in English) in John 21:15-17. Jesus says to Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love (agapao) me?" Peter answers, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love (phileo) you." Philadelphia is a related word meaning the love of brothers or sisters (e.g.,Romans 12:10). It is often translated "brotherly love."

Now back to myself, how would you know that you really have feelings for that person. Is it just because we're closed? Or because we want attention? Or just peer pressure? Or it's really true? Many I've seen can survive so long. Many were just so called puppy love. So when we pray for the right one from God, how would really know it's from Him. Hmm...many have been praying over me about that since last year. But I do feel a bit weird when I see that someone. Does that mean I like her? Hmm...something to ponder....

Anyway for now I'm clinging to God's love. Because His love is perfect and it will cast out all fear...

Verse 1:
It doesn't matter where I run, You're there for me
It doesn't matter what I've done Your love's for me

My life is safe by the mercy of Your grace
Verse 2:
It doesn't matter where I go, You walk with me
It doesn't matter when I fall, You cover me
You wipe away the tears, You lift me when I fall
My life is safe by the mercy of Your grace

You are my Father, Provider
You're my Deliverer
Your mercies embrace me, surround me
Through Your everlasting love
